Buddhika has spent his entire professional career in the financial services industry, and has been at Sydney Financial Planning since 2007. Buddhika started in our technical team, where he developed a strong theoretical and practical understanding of the financial services industry. He is passionate about communicating his knowledge with his clients, and building up long term relationships with them.

Career and Industry Highlights
After joining Sydney Financial Planning in early 2008 as a paraplanner, Buddhika progressed to lead the paraplanning team within seven months of his arrival. This was due to his excellent technical knowledge, strategic vision and his ability to liaise with financial planners to ensure our clients were receiving maximum value from the advice being provided. With clients ranging from large corporations and small businesses to sole traders, families and individuals, Buddhika is well versed in solving a variety of financial complexities.
Personal Interests
Buddhika enjoys playing sports including cricket, tennis, touch football, golf and is an avid supporter of the Warriors NRL rugby league club. He also enjoys reading and discussing topics including current events, economics and philosophy. He is also passionate about raising funds for underprivileged communities in a war torn area of his country of birth, Sri Lanka through a charity called Palmera.
